The way to know if one of your goals is “your goal” is to check and see how it makes you feel. If it makes you feel excited, motivated, giddy and happy like a small child, then it’s yours. If it does not then either it’s someone else’s goal for you or its an old goal that doesn’t fit the person you are today.
Welcome to the Goal setting and Motivation workshop page.
Do you notice an overwhelm of ideas and options? Do you wake up with reoccurring thoughts about: now what? Does this break your flow instead of moving you forward?
During this workshop we identify what gets your energy flowing and how you can shape your vision clearly from a high state of energy. Aim your arrows sharply at your goal and achieve them with a smile.
We will explore:
– which goals are yours and which ones are expectations from others?
– which goals motivate you and get you moving!
– insights into concrete steps to get closer to your goals in a motivated and fun way.
You will leave with clear new insights and new energy!
Remember, you can never reach a goal perse. A goal by its definition must be in the future. The purpose of a goal setting exercise is that it uncovers our “values” and lets us know which “directions” we should be moving in.
– What are the parking, shopping and dining options in the studio area?
There is a paid parking lot opposite the studio and street parking. Also there is an Albert Heijn and a small shopping mall. In the area there are some lovely bistros such as Bio Bodega and the Urban Bakery with their lovely cakes and cai is right next door!
– How do I get there by public transport?
The studio is at about a 15 minute walk from Central Station, a 20 minute walk from Station Rotterdam Noord and directly reachable with trams 4, 8 and 25.
– What shall I take along?
Comfortable cloths and an extra shawl/vest to keep a pleasant temperature during meditations. A pencil/pen and notebook for notes if you wish.
– Will we eat together?
There are no food guidelines for this workshop. Enjou your dinner :) Altho you are always welcome to share treats with the group.

Who is the teacher?
The session is hosted by Djehan Lauwers, comprehensively trained in psychology, yoga & mindfulness practices, NLP and transition change-management within organisations. I am specialised in creating awareness, relaxation and enhancing clarity and empowerment, known for my intuitive style and for bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern-day life.
I now run weekly yoga classes and monthly courses at the studio in Rotterdam.
