Come to the taster of Mindfulness Worx!

MindfulnessWorx is a mindfulness(meditation) program attuned to the new times we live in. We work with practical ways to explore deeper layers of our awarenes and reach a grounded state of deep relaxation. From this newly created sense of inner space and peace, something new can arise.

During this evening we will explore:

– the basis of mindfulness and meditation

– physical, mental and emotional rest and relaxation


– What are the parking, shopping and dining options in the studio area?

There is a paid parking lot opposite the studio and street parking. Also there is an Albert Heijn and a small shopping mall. In the area there are some lovely bistros such as Bio Bodega and the Urban Bakery with their lovely cakes and cai is right next door!

– How do I get there by public transport?

The studio is at about a 15 minute walk from Central Station, a 20 minute walk from Station Rotterdam Noord and directly reachable with trams 4, 8 and 25.

– What shall I take along?

Comfortable cloths and an extra shawl/vest to keep a pleasant temperature during meditations. A pencil/pen and notebook for notes if you wish.

– Will we eat together?

The tip is to eat light and clean foods before mindfulness/meditation and yoga sessions, such as soup, fruit and tea. You are always welcome to share treats with the group.

Who is the teacher?

The session is hosted by Djehan Lauwers, comprehensively trained in psychology, yoga & mindfulness practices, NLP and transition change-management within organisations.  I am specialised in creating awareness, relaxation and enhancing clarity and empowerment, known for my intuitive style and for bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern-day life.

I now run weekly yoga classes and monthly courses at the studio in Rotterdam.
